Take the Green Schools Pledge!

You can make a difference at your school by taking the Green Schools Pledge and signing up to get our free e-newsletter with tips, news, and, school stories.

I pledge to work to implement the "7 Steps to a Green School" at my school

I pledge to personally commit to doing the "top 5" greening efforts:

- pack a waste-free lunch and/or recycle at lunch and in the classroom
- switch to green cleaning products at home
- carpool, walk, bike or transit to school once a month
- turn off lights and equipment when not in use
- spend time outdoors once per week

I pledge to tell 5 people in my school community why green schools are important for children’s health, learning, and a sustainable future.

I pledge to tell Green Schools Initiative about my success to share with other schools.
