Jingle, Jingle, it's Kachingle

Green Schools Initiative was recently the beneficiary of a new online giving service that might appeal to your wish to simplify your year-end (or year-round) philanthropy while saving the free resources you value. It's called Kachingle: Social Cents for the Open Web, and it's a great green way to support the free online resources you love.

It works like this: you open a small account (as little as $5) then choose a site or sites -- it can be any website, like Green Schools Initiative, or a blog, a web application, a YouTube channel, etc. -- and make a micropayment. You can choose to do a 30-day free trial and decide at the end whether you want to put money into your pet digital causes.
