Background Materials for May 10, 2006 Roundtable
Objective of Roundtable: To lay out the goals, scope, range of issues and projects, stakeholders, types of outreach and training, and obstacles and opportunities we each work on. To find possible overlaps and/or gaps in our collective work that will help inform our strategy discussion. To identify opportunities for collaboration or coordination that would help us achieve our shared goals of improving children’s health and school environmental quality.
To help us better understand each other’s work and reach common understanding about the Williams Settlement implementation efforts, we are sharing these background and preparatory materials.
1. Powerpoint on Williams Settlement by Brooks Allen, ACLU-SC
This slide show provides background information and details of the Williams Settlement facilities components. Brooks Allen will use these slides during the May 10 roundtable. If you are joining by phone, please have this presentation available so that you can follow the discussion.
